Dear Sirs, It is my great pleasure to inform you that the XVI International Taekwon-Do (ITF) Tournament “CUP OF PETER THE GREAT” will take place in Saint-Petersburg, November 28-30, 2008. This Cup has gained the reputation of one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world, so it has got the honored status of WORLD CUP in 2007. Best competitors from many countries fight every year for the Big Cup of Peter the Great. This tournament became a traditional international festival. It takes place at Sports Palace “Yubilejny” - the central sports arena of Saint-Petersburg. Our city has got an honored right to hold the World Taekwon-do (ITF) Championship 2009. Saint-Petersburg Taekwon-Do Federation considers “Cup of Peter the Great” 2008 the main rehearsal of World Championship and invites all the competitors and fans of our martial art from all the countries to take part in this great event which will take place in one of the most beautiful cities of the world and Russia - Saint-Petersburg.
