In the first quarterfinal Valeri Amiranashvilli (Russia) and Akmal Irgashev met. Russian fighter won by knockdown. In the second quarterfinal Valentin Ageev (Ukraine) won by knockdown the Estonian fighter Andrey Jatsenko.

In the fight between Fedor Duganets (Ukraine) and Rishat Kabirov (Russia) by the end of two rounds judges gave the win to Ukrainian fighter. And for the reason that the fighter from Belarus was injured and couldn’t fight the Moldavian fighter passed to next round automatically.

Semifinal fights were much more stubborn. The struggle was very desperate and both the winners were defined by the Umpires. The winners became Valeri Amiranashvilli (Russia) and Maxim Bolotov (Moldova).

The final bout was not so long. The bout was stopped after a knockdown which the Russian sportsman got from Moldavian one.

So the winner became the bronze winner of the World Championship 2007, 3 times winner of “Baltic Cup” Maxim Bolotov.

At the Awarding Ceremony Master Anto Nobilo thanked Master Mikhail Shmelev for the organization and holding of the Qualifying Tournament of Pro-Taekwondo League and marked that Saint-Petersburg will be the place for holding of the qualifying tournaments in the future.
