International Taekwon-Do Tournament “Cup of Peter the Great” has taken place annually since 1990.
Tournament status:
World Cup. It has status of Europe Open Cup since 1996. Since 2007 it has got a new status of world Cup.
Tournament venue:
Till 2004 the tournament was held at the biggest sports arena in Europe – Petersburg Sports and Concert complex (SKK). (Saint-Petersburg, 8,Gagarina av.) Since 2006 the Tournament is held in Sports Palace “Yubilejny” (Saint-Petersburg, 18, Dobrolubova av).
Participants:
Annually more then 200 competitors from 20 countries take part in the Tournament. The competitors are female and male black belt holders above 16 years old.

Awards:
22 Medal sets and 24 Cups are to be won. The Overall Team winner will takes the main prize - Big Cup of Peter the Great .

Demonstration show performed by 200 pupils of the St-Petersburg Taekwon-Do Federation, Taekwon-Do Masters performance, Taekwon-Do museum and photo exhibition. You can also find auto show? Sports goods fair and so on. |
